ReplyDeleteReminds me of once when I was in London and I saw this woman with blood running down her face, streaks of it all over her face. She was perfecly well-dressed, didn't look like she had just been in a fight or anything, just an ordinary / elegant 50-something woman with a LOT of blood running down her face.
I stopped, turned and walked up to her. "Excuse me, are you alright?" "Quite alright, thank you", she answered and kept walking.
There was a policeman further down the street and I hoped that someone else stopped her as well because it was all so strange. She sounded hollow, shocked.
